…Deputy Governor describes celebrant as God’s gift to humanity

Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu, Friday joined his Delta State counterpart, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro and other dignitaries to celebrate the 85th birthday anniversary of Dcns. Angel Oyakhilome.

‘Esteemed Big Mummy’, as the celebrant is fondly called, is the biological mother of Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, Founder/President, LoveWorld Ministry, popularly known as Christ Embassy.

It was indeed, a joyous atmosphere at the LoveWorld City auditorium of Christ Embassy of the Benin-Warri Express Road, Obe, as there was so much fun and entertainment for guests, amidst worship and songs ministration to the glory of God.

In his address at the colourful event, Shaibu noted that over the years, ‘Big Mummy’ has passionately dedicated her life to the service of God and humanity at large- expanding the frontiers of the gospel and making a difference in the lives of her biological and spiritual children all over the world, describing her as a gift to all of us.

According to him: “Our Big Mummy is a quintessential symbol of womanhood, a peerless mother and a virtuous wife of many positive parts”.

“Today, I join millions of people around the globe to celebrate our ‘Big Mummy’ and to thank God for her life and the life of her son, Rev. Chris Oyakhilome, who has become an outreach to the world”.

“As a Government, we’re happy to partner with the Believers LoveWorld Ministry to Make Edo Great Again. Christ Embassy has contributed immensely to growing the GDP of Edo State”.

“I’m proud of my brother, Rev. Chris. He’s a proud Edo son we must all celebrate because of what God is using him to do in our state, country and the world”.

“Once again, congratulations and happy birthday to our ‘Big Mummy’ Shaibu added.

The highlight of the celebration was the rendition of a special birthday song by the Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu, in honour of Dcns. Angel Oyakhilome.

The occasion attracted eminent personalities from within and outside Edo State, family members, the clergy, friends, associates and well-wishers of the Oyakhilomes.
