Everton are ready to brace up their bid for Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho who is keen on cutting ties with Leicester City following the club’s relegation from the English Premier League last season.
The Foxes are also ready to get the Super Eagles forward off their books with just a year left on his contract at the King Power Stadium.
Both parties, however, are in a precarious situation as the player is not willing to extend his stay which could lead to losing him on a free next summer.
According to reports, this is coming as an alternative target following Everton’s failure to secure any of their top-listed while the Toffees are set to prioritise the signing of the striker before the start of the 2023/24 campaign.
