Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC, also known as ABS, is set to make a return to the Nigeria National League next season after buying a slot in the nation’s second division.
The club’s Director of Football, Chief Alloy Chukwuemeka, announced this during the official unveiling of their new Technical Adviser, Coach Danlami Umar.
Chukwuemeka explained that ABS FC’s decision to regain professional status was driven by the desire to meet the expectations of their passionate fans.

He assured supporters that the club is committed to not only maintaining its professional status but also striving for promotion to the elite Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The club was able to secure a place in the second-tier league after acquiring the DMD of Maiduguri slot.
Danlami Umar, the newly appointed Technical Adviser, has been tasked with leading the team to achieve the promotion ticket to the NPFL, drawing on his previous coaching experience with Dakkada FC and Kada City FC.
