CAF Champions League: Ewulu Commends Amobi, Ilechukwu On Rangers Progress.

The Former Assistant Coach of the Flying Eagles of Nigeria and Rangers International of Enugu, Fancy Ewulu, is felicitating with his former team on their progression to the next round of the African premier club competition. He posited that the result was due to hard work and team cooperation by the technical crew and management.

“I want to say a big congratulations to our darling team, Rangers International of Enugu, on our progression to the next and final round of the CAF Champions League group stage qualifiers. All came down to Team cooperation and hard work led by the CEO, Barr. Amobi Ezeaku and the tactical ability of the coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu. Hard work always pays. Enugu Rangers, without doubt, is enjoying the best managerial ability of all clubs in Nigeria.”

The Former Flying Eagles goalkeeper believes that Rangers have what it takes to progress not only to the group stage but also to go far in the competition.

“The easiest game on paper from experience sometimes is usually the hardest one on the pitch. We needed to get through the tricky tie. Now we are facing a known heavyweight in African football; I fancy our chances against the Algerian side, USM Algiers. The experience of the coach and quality of the players will come to bear, while the managerial acumen of Barr. Ezeaku’s administration will smother things. Beyond qualification, I believe that Rangers will go far in this competition.”

The Former Edel FC of Awka, Head coach mentioned that having gone on sabbatical leave since leaving Edel FC that he is open to new challenges either in the NNL or NPFL. Fancy Ewulu is a CAF B license holder whose CV can be rivalled by few coaches in Nigeria.
