At the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Bendel Insurance and RS Berkane battled to a 2-2 draw, with the visitors leveling the score twice.

Bendel Insurance struck first when Imade Osarenkhoe capitalized on a loose ball, following Tanimu Benjamin’s powerful 40-yard shot that was parried away by Amine el Oliaad, the Orange Boys’ goalkeeper. This breakthrough came in the 28th minute.

However, just before halftime, Oussama Lamlioui found the equalizer for RS Berkane, capitalizing on a goalmouth scramble. Although, Amas Obasogie initially punched away the shot, the defense could clear the danger, resulting in a goal.

The second half witnessed a crucial moment as substitute Vincent Augustus, showing his manager’s faith was well-placed, scored his first professional goal with a tap-in from Imade’s precise low cross.

But, in a painful twist for Bendel Insurance fans, the visitors struck back. A swift counter-attack by the Orange Boys saw Mohammed El Morabit find the net in the 78th minute.

As the minutes ticked away, RS Berkane managed to run down the clock effectively, and the game concluded when the center referee from Gambia, L. Jammeh, signaled the end of the contest.
