Soon, the passion invigorated through the players and two goals were scored before the end of the first 45′ to give NMA a two-goal margin. Dominion FC began applying pressure to reduce the deficit and at least get a point. The former paid off, as one goal was netted from a direct free kick by substitute Moses Edogiawerie with less than 15 minutes on the clock.
This victory has seen NMA rise to the top of Group B with three points and a +1 goal diffference with Dominion sittting second, with three points and a goal difference of 0.
