The Edo Elite Super League has received a major boost as two footballers playing abroad have publicly declared their support for the competition and its vision of developing football in Edo State, PlatinumNewsng is reporting.
Super Eagles defender, Ebube Duru, who plays for Sønderjyske Fodbold FC in Denmark, affirmed his commitment to the league, describing it as a platform that is helping to shape the future of football in the state.

Also lending his voice to the initiative is former Bendel Insurance defender Sunday Anyanwu of Swedish league side Östersunds FK Football Club, who called on sports enthusiasts to rally behind the competition.
“I proudly support the Edo Elite Super League. Together, we are building the future of football in Edo State, and I encourage all sports lovers to come and support the league,” Anyanwu stated.
