…to thank God for preserving Apst Johnson Suleiman
Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu, Sunday worshipped with the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, OFM, Apostle Johnson Suleiman at the church International Headquarters in Auchi, Etsako West Local Government Area of the State.
The Deputy Governor was at OFM, shortly after the celebration of holy mass at his home church, St. Philip-Neri Catholic Church in Jattu-Uzairue to worship with Apostle Johnson Suleiman.
Addressing the congregation, Shaibu described the fiery man of God as his blood relation, noting that he was in the church to join worshipers in thanking God for preserving the Apostle’s life and family from assassins.
Announcing the presence of the State’s number two citizen in the church, President and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, the congregation erupted in wild jubilation to accord Shaibu a warm reception.
The Deputy Governor said he was excited and blessed by the sermon preached by his brother, Apostle Johnson Suleiman.
Quoting from the Bible, Shaibu said: “touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm. This is why God preserved our great prophets and servants of God, particularly, Apostle Johnson Suleiman”.
I am so excited and happy that the enemies will never succeed because of God’s uncommon anointing upon him and his family”.
“We come to the church every time with our expectations from God and we do not remember to pray to God for our prophet and servant for preservation from the hands of the enemies”.
“I am here today not for any political reason but to worship and thank God for preserving my brother’s life and to celebrate with him”.
“I pray that God continues to preserve him, his family, and everyone of us against unknown enemies as we grow from strength to strength”, Shaibu added.
In the words of Apostle Suleiman, “I share three fathers with my elder brother, the Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu. He is my brother and I pray God continues to bless him”.
Apostle Suleiman humorously retorted in pidgin English:’no be who shows you love you go love? No be who show you concern you go concern about?”
ln response, the entire congregation chorused an affirmative yessss ooooo.
The man of God later had a private audience with the Deputy Governor, immediately after the church service.
