The Edo State Kickboxing Association Vice Chairman, Mr. Remi Aderibigbe has showered praise on the Kickboxing Federation of Nigeria for a smooth kickoff of the second edition of the National Open Kickboxing Championship currently going on in Benin City.
The State Vice Chairman who spoke with journalists at the multi-purpose indoor sports hall of the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium on Friday afternoon commended the level of organisation on the ground and the level of professionalism displayed by all the athletes and other officers present.
He also took out time to talk about the performance of Edo State athletes at the championship so far, which has been great, stating that he expects a lot of them to win their various categories.
On the state preparations for the forthcoming State Championship, Mr Remi said that all plans are in gear to ensure that the event is very successful, also calling for collaboration from all sports stakeholders.
