Edo SWAN Coach Welcomes Foreign Expatriate Assistant

In a bid to reposition the Edo State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN Football Team for greater heights, the Head Coach, Joseph Isokpehi has expressed his willingness to work with foreign expatriate, Emmerson Edosa, to achieve this goal.

Joseph Isokpehi made this known in a statement made available to the Edo SWAN media team in Benin City, on Saturday morning after the first training of the team ahead of Saturday’s friendly against Airport FC.

The veteran emphasized the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing in achieving success.

“I am excited about the prospect of working with Emmerson Edosa, who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. I believe that together, we can achieve great things and take Edo SWAN to the next level,” the Coach said.

“We are waiting to review his CV and that would be done by the appropriate quarters as soon as we receive his CV”.

Emmerson Edosa, a renowned sports journalist cum coach, earlier this year concluded his UEFA B license coaching course in Australia, graduating with distinction and has so far been in charge of various sports organizations and teams as a consultant and is expected to bring his vast knowledge and experience to bear on Edo SWAN.

This development is seen as a major boost to the association football team which has been working tirelessly to promote and develop sports in Edo State through its members’ platforms.
