Ahead of the 2024 National Sports Festival tagged “Gateway Games”, the Chairman Ogun State Football Association, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi believes the state government has taken a huge step towards recording success by appointing Hon. Bukola Olopade as the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee.
Alhaji Majekodunmi in a congratulatory message to the LOC Chairman, expressed confidence that his experience in the Sports industry will rub off positively on the games.
He said “Congratulations to Chief Bukola Olopade, this appointment cannot be faulted, the right man for the job is in charge and it’s only natural to expect results”
“I also congratulate other members of the LOC, the team is filled with top personalities with finesse in their area of specialization, on behalf of the football family in Ogun State, we wish the state government and the LOC success in the forthcoming games”
Alhaji Majekodunmi, an Executive Board Member of the Nigeria Football Federation also called on sports stakeholders in the state to rally around the team in a bid to ensure that Gateway Games 2024 becomes a reference point in the annals of sporting events in the country
