NNL Super 4: Official fixtures, time and dates.

The much-awaited 2022 Nigeria National League Super 4 will kick off Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

The fixtures and time were made known at the draws conducted at the Bayelsa State Ministry of Sports complex, Tuesday evening.

The tournament is made in a round-robin format where all participating clubs will play against each other for three days and the team with the highest points emerge champion.

Day one of the fixtures will be the ee host team, Bayelsa United played against Doma United at 2 pm while Bendel Insurance will be entertained by El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri by 4 pm.

Day two will see derbies as Doma United will host El-Kanemi Warriors in the northern derby and Bayelsa United hosts Bendel Insurance in the southern derby; both matches are scheduled for 2 and 4 pm respectively.

The last day will see El-Kanemi Warriors takes on Bayelsa United and Bendel Insurance play Doma United.

All matches are scheduled to take place at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

Speaking at the draws, the Chief Executive Officer of the league, Sajo Mohammed, welcomed all the teams present and admonished them to play fair and give their all.

“We decided this season to do the Super Four – all the teams that won their various groups, otherwise, we would have done Super Eight when no one would be sure to do qualification until the end.”

“I want to appeal to the teams to take this seriously and give their best so that the league can live up to its billing.”

“We thank the Bayelsa State government immensely for hosting this.”

“I wish you all the best in the competition. To the referees, please give us professional officiating in this tourney.”

In his speech, the chief operating Officer, Emmanuel Adesanya thanked the host governor and told all teams to feel at home while they enjoy their time in the state.

“I want to further appreciate and recognize the governor of Bayelsa State, Sen. Douye Diri.”

“Despite the flood that ravaged the state and other parts of the South, the governor was determined to ensure that this will take place – for the sake of the youths.”

“We are here to enjoy ourselves and thank God these teams have already qualified, so there won’t be any pressure whatsoever.”
