The Nigeria Premier Football League matchday two game between Kano Pillars Football Club and Katsina United Football Club, originally scheduled for Sunday, October 8, 2023, has been rescheduled, Platinumnewsmg.com is reporting.
This was made known to the public by the media officer of Katsina United, Nasir Gide as he revealed it was communicated to both clubs by Davidson Owumi, the Chief Operating Officer of the league.
The match will now take place on Saturday, October 7, 2023, instead of the previously announced date. The reason for the adjustment is because of commercial and broadcast reasons, as stated in the league management’s official statement.
Both sides will now play on Saturday by 4pm Nigerian time. Last weekend, Katsina United defeated Kwara United by one goal to nothing while Kano Pillars lost their opening fixture by same scoreline to Sunshine Stars.
