Bendel Insurance 1-1 Sunshine Stars

Their relentless pressure paid off early as Divine Nwachukwu volley from outside the 18-yard-box beat Sunshine Stars goalkeeper leaving the Owena Waves struggling to find a response.
Edith Agoye’s team struggle paid off in the 62nd minute as a goalmouth scramble saw Udom Ekerette getting the needed equaliser for Sunshine Stars. Efforts by both sides to get a winner proved to be abortive.
