NPFL24: Gbenga Ogunbote Assures Shooting Stars Supporters Of Recruitment In January Transfer Window

Gbenga Ogunbote has assured Shooting Stars supporters of recruitment in the 2024 January transfer window, platinumnewsng.com is reporting

The former Enugu Rangers manager made this assertion whilst sharing his post-match thoughts after his side played out a 2-2 draw with Sporting Lagos.

Ogunbote claimed that the businesses to be made this transfer window won’t result in a complete overhaul of the squad but just some additions to better certain areas of the team.

Shooting Stars need reinforcement in key areas

Speaking after the heated encounter at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Gbenga Ogunbote said:

“Even the top team has started signing players, why won’t we? It is not going to be a total revamp, we are going to bring some few hands to solidify some areas.”

Gbenga Ogunbote said: “We are not playing Enyimba for the first and not the last time. We will do our best.”

Anyway, Shooting Stars are unbeaten in their last 20 home games and they will be aiming to continue that imperious run when they face the People’s Elephant.
