Sunshine Stars has officially unveiled Kennedy Boboye as head coach of the Akure based team, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.
Boboye who was formerly with Heartland, comes in to replace Edith Agoye. Agoye was sacked following his side’s 1-0 loss away to Kwara United at the Kwara Sports Complex in Ilorin, on matchday 19 leaving the club placed 14th on the Nigeria Premier Football League table.
The Akure club have recorded five wins, seven defeats and seven draws in this campaign.
Other technical crew members unveiled alongside Kennedy Boboye include, Kayode Julius (Chief Coach) , Nwachukwu Ifeanyi (Assistant Coach) and John Gaadi (Goalkeeper trainer).
Also unveiled was 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner, Godfrey Itama Oboabona who is expected to bring his wealty of experience to the team after spells in Europe
