In a welcome boost to the EDO SWAN camp, mercurial midfielder, Odinaka has shaken off his injury and declared himself ready for battle against Benin Airport FC in next Saturday’s friendly match.

Although Odinaka couldn’t complete the training earlier today with the rest of the team, he did some running around the pitch side, signaling his return to fitness.

The team doctors are assessing his hamstring, but are confident that he will be match-fit for the big game.

“I’m feeling good and ready to go,” Odinaka said in a statement. “I can’t wait to get back on the pitch and help my team secure a win against Airport FC.

“Coach of the side, Joseph Isokpehi, is equally delighted to have his star midfielder back in contention.

“Odinaka is a key player for us, and his return will be a massive boost. We are confident that he will be ready for the game and make a big impact.

“With Odinaka back in the fray, EDO SWAN is looking formidable ahead of the friendly match.
