The road to the maiden Platinum Cup Scouting Tournament has run its course, with the list of the eight competing teams now completing ahead of the tournament which kicks off on April 12.
With four teams (Florence Joshua,BJ FC, Yak FC and Rolly FC) earlier revealed to be participating in the maiden edition of this tournament, the identities of the other teams are now known.

OLOKE UNITED
Coach: Ovenseri Solomon

Base: Oredo, Benin City.
Year Founded: 2020
Nigeria National League 2 side, Oloke United will begin preparation for the new season with the maiden edition of the Platinum. Playing with a 4-3-3 formation, the young and energetic side led by Coach Ovenseri Solomon will be gunning for glory.
Founded in 2020, the club based in Oredo, Benin City has what it takes to be crowned champions as they will hope to upset the big names in preparation for the next NLO 2 season.
DYNAMO ACADEMICA
Nickname: Tiki-Taka
Coach: Charles Iredia and Aliu Samson
Chairman: Okaka Harris Omokuagbo
Base: Ikpoba Okha, Benin City.
Year Founded: 2015
Popularly known as the Tiki-Taka of Nigeria, non-league side Dynamo Academica has confirmed its participation at the Platinum Cup 23.
With a dynamic formation of a back three playing out a 3-5-2 formation or a 4-3-3, the tactical leadership of Charles Iredia and Aliu Samson have built a long-lasting philosophy of ‘tiki-taka’ football which is the dominant tactic at the club since it was founded in 2015.
From Ikpoba Okha in Benin, Dynamo Academica which has produced great talents like Obekpa Gabriel, Elijah Peace, Friday Adamu, Tejumola, and Precious Young Onyeka will roll out youngsters who are vibrant and gearing for victory.
GENESIS FOOTBALL CLUB

Coach: Dolumi Tobi
Chairman: Udi Victor
Base: Egor LGA, Benin City, Edo State.
Year Founded:2016
Genesis Football Club is another big name to watch out for at the maiden edition of the Platinum Cup. With Dolumi Tobi at the helm of affairs as coach, the team will strive for victory.
Formerly known as Cele which has now become a nickname for the team, the amateur team founded in 2016 will be expecting to lift the trophy as their 4-3-3 setup had brought success in recent times.
ETTO FOOTBALL CLUB
Nickname: Fearless
Coach: Edo Patrick
Chairman: Osagie Etinosa Destiny
Base: Oredo LGA, Benin City, Edo State.
Year Founded:2022
Known as ‘Fearless’, Etto Football Club will be at the maiden edition of the Platinum Cup. Currently coached by Edo Patrick Paul with a unique 4-3-3 formation, the newly found amateur club are ready to give all it takes to emerge as champions.
Based in Oredo Benin City, the Patrick Paul side is a side to watch out for as they are seen as the ‘fearless’ side.
