Executive Director of Operation and Sports Development at the Edo State Sports Commission, Mrs Sabina Chikere has congratulated Edo Queens’ coach, Moses Aduku on his appointment as the head coach of the Nigerian U-20 women team.
The Executive Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation on Thursday, July 24, 2025, endorsed the proposal by the Technical and Development Sub-Committee for the appointment of experienced Moses Aduku, as Head Coach of the U20 Girls National Team, Falconets.

Aduku who was an assistant coach of the Nigeria U20 girls, who got to the quarter-finals at the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup finals in Costa Rica in 2022, will start work with à 2026 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifying fixture against Rwanda in September.
Sabina in a statement congratulated Aduku, saying that she’s happy for the appointment and the growth Aduku has attained in the last few years.
“This is a good news and I’m so happy for him. I remembered how we were so convinced to bring him to our team in 2022, the rest has been fantastic history with our team.”
“This appointment underscores his potential to do more greater work in an advanced position and the U-20 is a good one for him. I’m convinced just like in 2022, that he will do great things with the girls.”
“I wish him success in office and hope that success also rub on our team in this coming season.”
The former Flying Eagles and Olympic Eagles player has in time past tinkered teams like Bayelsa Queens and Heartland Queens.
Aduku will resume duty on Sunday July 27, 2025.
