Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Philip Shaibu has felicitated with the Iyase of Uwanno Kingdom, Senator Francis Asekhame Alimikhena, the distinguished Senator representing Edo North in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly.
In a congratulatory message personally signed by the Deputy Governor, he stated:
” It is my pleasure to felicitate with you, Francis Alimikhena Esq., most Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on this auspicious occasion of your birthday”.
“In the last seven years, as a serving two-term Senator, you have provided effective representation and quality leadership for your constituents in Edo North”.
Shaibu added: “Truly, your vocal voice, invaluable contributions and oversight functions in the Red Chamber of the National Assembly have translated to a bountiful harvest of dividends of democracy for the good people of Edo North in particular and indeed, our dear Edo State in general”.
” It is heartwarming to know that your excellent performance over the years has endeared you to the people, hence the sobriquet, ‘Oracle of Modern Development’ “.
“This, no doubt, is a testament to the trust and confidence reposed in you by the people as a performing cum distinguished Senator of our time”.
The Deputy Governor prayed for the celebrant while wishing him well in the years ahead, affirming that: “as you trudge on in life and age gracefully, it is my sincere prayers that the good Lord continue to bless you in good health, sound mind and longevity for the progress of humanity”.
“Once again, congratulations and many happy returns to a distinguished Senator and a gentleman officer of the Nigerian Army who retired meritoriously from service”.
