Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu has felicitated with the Catholic Archdiocese and the Archbishop of Benin City, Most Rev. Dr. Augustine Obiora Akubueze on the Glorious on the silver jubilee priestly ordination of Very Rev. Father(s) Andrew Adubale, Andrew Obinyan, Andrew Ovienloba, Jonas Naiwu, Raymond Ikponwonba and Michael Oyanoafoh.
The celebration which took place at the St Paul’s Catholic Church, Benin City, was witnessed by various dignitaries in and outside Edo State – Catholics, other denominations, professionals and politicians.
According to him a statement personally signed by him, “It is heartwarming to know that these servants of God have spent 25 years of their lives in sacrificial service in the Lord’s vineyard and humanity at large.”
“I am aware and testimonies abound too of their contributions in transforming lives, building institutions and developing capacities for the expansion of the Catholic faith and societal development.”
