Just two days ahead of their friendly match against Saudi Arabia, the Super Eagles’ camp has been officially declared open in Portugal for their upcoming international friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.
Crucial players such as Francis Uzoho, Bright Osayi Samuel, Wilfred Ndidi, Calvin Bassey, Joe Aribo, Victor Osimhen, Victor Osimhen have all reported in camp. However, Adebayo Adeleye is finding it difficult because of the conflict in the Israeli region.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria will have a gym session by 10:30am on Wednesday and later in the day, a training by 5pm.
Under the guidance of coach Jose Peseiro, the Super Eagles are set to participate in warm-up games against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique in the picturesque city of Portimão, Portugal.
These matches will serve as essential preparation for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches and the African Nations Cup finals in Cote D’Ivoire.
On the schedule, the Super Eagles are scheduled to face the Green Falcons of Saudi Arabia on Friday, followed by a matchup with the Mambas of Mozambique in the same city just three days later.
