With Officially nine days to the African Cup of Nations tournament 2023 set to take place in Cote d’Ivoire, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have been joined by three more players in camp ahead of the tournament, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.
With 23 players already in camp, Francis Uzoho, Sadiq Umar and Alhassan Yusuf are the latest addition to the squad in camp. It would be recalled that Alhassan who was not in the initial list was brought in to replace injured Wilfred Ndidi.
The list of players in camp now are: Ahmed Musa, Kenneth Omeruo, Moses Simon, Olorunleke Ojo, Alex Iwobi, Semi Ajayi, Ola Aina, Calvin Bassey, Ademola Lookman, Joe Aribo, Frank Onyeka, Bruno Onyemaechi, Chidozie Awaziem, Zaidu Sanusi, Victor Boniface, Raphael Onyedika, Osayi Bright Samuel, Stanley Nwabali, Samuel Chukwueze, Francis Uzoho, Sadiq Umar and Alhassan Yusuf.
The Peseiro led team will kickstart their AFCON 2023 campaign on 14 January at the Olympic Stadium of Embipé against Equitorial Guinea
