In the Euphoria of gaining promotion into the apex football league in Nigeria, the Nigerian Professional Football League, the Proprietor of Remo Stars Sports Club, Hon. Kunle Soname, has hinted that the club’s ambition is to win the league in the next three years.
The Club proprietor hinted at this while reacting to some questions raised by some journalists and members of the Nigerian football popular WhatsApp group, “Talk About NPFL, NNL, NWFL (TANNN), on Tuesday, September 14 evening.
With a WhatsApp emoji, the Chairman, Bet9ja wrote that winning the league title in 2024 is part of the team’s vision.
“We need to win the NPFL by 2024. Part of our preparation.”
The Lagos State University product, in another comment with another WhatsApp emoji, further put a stop to arguments over the position of the team’s coach who led his players to promotion to the NPFL, Daniel Ogunmodede, at CD Feirense that coach Daniel will be joining the main team.
“But why can’t people seek the correct situation first before speculating 😋. He is going to the first team!”
The former chairman, Ikosi-Isheri local government area however showered praises on Coach Ogunmodede for his progress so far as a football coach
“Daniel worked with our youth coach, Tiago Conde, for 3 years both in Nigeria and Portugal, and we are seeing the results now. This is the next step.”
