Table Tennis world number 2, Wang Chuqin, have defeated fellow Chinese and World number one Fan Zhendong in a one sided final match, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.
Fan Zhendong who defeated Nigerian and African number 1, Aruna Quadri in the quarter finals of the world tour final lost scandalously to his country man by 4-0 (11-8; 11-9; 14-12; 11-7) in the finals of the men singles.
This victory has cemented Wang Chuqin as the most successful table tennis singles player at the world tour finals, it is his sixth. He also won the 2023 edition of the tour finals.
Meanwhile, Chinese pair, Xiang Peng & Yuan Licen have also been crowned Champions after defeating Gaoyuan Lin & Lin S. 3-0 in another pulsating final match.
