In a message shared by the club’s Media Team, support is key to the Kwara-based team’s progress in the competition, especially as they take the centre stage against the Cup holders, who are also the Champion of Champions in Africa.

Kwara United eliminated AS Douanes of Niger Republic on a 3-0 aggregate in the Preliminary Rounds, to come face-to-face with the Berkane-based team.

The winner over the two legs qualifies for the Group stage. Just like the match against AS Douanes, Kwara United needs to win and win well on Sunday, to reduce the pressure on the team in the return leg in Berkane.

This is Kwara United’s third participation in CAF organised inter-club competition, after the 1999/2000 and 2007/2007 seasons.

Meanwhile, ticket prices for the match have been fixed by the Marketing Department of the team.
