Barrister Ogie, meanwhile, pushed his support behind the Super Eagles to put behind them their 2026 World Cup heartbreak and go all out for the African Cup, which he said would be worth consoling Nigerians.
“I know the Super Eagles are disappointed that they couldn’t give the country the World Cup ticket, but here’s my advice to them —don’t let that disturb you; I saw what they did at the last edition, almost winning the tournament, I believe they can replicate such a streak this time and go a step further.
