…as Dep Gov. commends his achievements
Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt Hon Comrade Philip Shaibu Saturday, joined political actors and other dignitaries from across Edo State in Iruekpen, Esan West Local Government Area, to celebrate the homecoming of Hon Joseph Edionwele, immediate past member of House of Representatives representing Esan West and Igueben Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Abuja.
The celebrant in his address, appreciated the good people of Esanland, particularly his constituents, for the mandate given him to represent them in the green chamber of the National Assembly.
He recounted his long-standing and cordial relationship with the Deputy Governor amidst cheers.
In his remarks, Shaibu, who was a former member of the House of Representatives, shared the experiences and legislative collaboration they both had in the House.
He described Edionwele as the people’s advocate who believed and supported him in advancing the interest of the masses, especially the youth population while commending him for his effective and purposeful representation.
Some of the dignitaries who graced the event include Hon Donald Okogbe, member, representing Akoko-Edo Constituency 11, at the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon Kingsley Ehigiamusor, Chief of Staff, Office of the Deputy Governor, former House of Representatives member, representing Oredo Federal Constituency, Rt Hon Ogbeide-Ihama and Hon Pascal Ugbome.
