All fixtures for the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matches scheduled for matchday three, originally set for this midweek between Wednesday and Thursday, have been postponed to the weekend, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.
This decision was communicated to all participating clubs in the top-flight league on Monday by the Nigeria Premier League, the league’s organizing body.
As a result of this rescheduling, all matches will now take place on Sunday, October 15, with the exception of the game between Bendel Insurance and Plateau United, which will kick off on Saturday, October 14.
Also, the previously postponed NPFL matchday one clash between Rivers United and Remo Stars has been rescheduled and is now set to take place on Wednesday, October 12, at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
