Nigeria Premier Football League outfit Bayelsa United are set to host a five-a-side tournament in preparation for the upcoming top-flight division season with a new date yet to be made known.
This was disclosed via the club’s official X handle while the competition kicks off at 8 a.m. on Thursday at Hamilton Garden, Azikoro in Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State.
“In preparation for the new Nigeria Premier Football League season the management of Bayelsa United have fixed a one day five side tournament for the players,” it read.
Meanwhile, there also will be a match between the club’s coaching and backroom staff, with a trophy to be presented to the winners of the abovementioned friendly tourney.
