The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that the 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League will take place in Côte d’Ivoire from 05-19 November 2023.
The tournament will bring together top clubs from across Africa, a testament to CAF’s dedication to growing Women’s Football on the continent.
Reigning Nigeria Women’s Football League champions, Delta Queens, are hopeful of qualifying from the WAFU B zone to compete in the championship as they aim to follow in the footsteps of ASFAR, the Moroccan club that caused an upset in the 2022 edition by dethroning defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns in Rabat.
The tournament presents a fantastic opportunity for Cote d’Ivoire as it gears up to host the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations in January 2024.
