NFF: Nigeria strengthens diplomatic relations with Burundi

On Thursday, May 2nd, 2024, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), and Ambassador Edward Nduwimana, a former General Secretary of the Burundi Football Federation met in Alhaji Ibrahim’s office in an attempt to strengthen the Nigeria-Burundi Football relationship.

Alhaji Gusau entertained Ambassador Edward in his office on Thursday to intensify the football relationship between Nigeria and Burundi.

It was an official friendly visit on advancement in the football sector between both countries. Alhaji Gusau, in a picture shared by the NFF on their website, thenff.com, was said to have presented a Nigerian Jersey to Ambassador Edward.

This step will take the Nigerian Football further into the international football sector. Hopefully, not just the football sector but other aspect as well.
