Nigerian striker’s hat-trick handed Granada maximum points.

Nigerian-born striker, Eghosa Bello painted the Estadio Municipal Antonio Bailon Domingo 30 with goals on Sunday with a hat-trick in his first start of the season to earn his team the maximum points against Marbella FC.

The 18-year-old player made his first start for the side after missing out on six matches due to finalizing his paper works to reside and play in Spain and it didn’t take him more than ten minutes to put his name on the scoring sheet.

Eghosa received a through pass from his team’s deep-lying midfielder and lobbed the ball over the goalkeeper to give his side the lead, but the lead was cut short when the opponents levelled immediately after restarting to force the game into a first-half draw.

The second half restarted and the Rolly Football Academy product who had started his previous two games for his team from the bench picked it up from where he stopped in the first half to put his side ahead again in the 63rd minute after connecting well with a beautiful square play from his team’s right back with a tap in to put a smile on the faces of his technical bench. The celebration was cut short with another almost immediate equalizer by the Marbella.

With 10 minutes left to end the game, Eghosa once again found himself in the position to put smiles on the faces of his teammates and fans when he smashed home to the top corner of the post a rebounded ball from the goalkeeper of Marbella to make it three for his team and his first hat trick in his first start in three games. The win has now catapulted Granada to 10th from 13th in group four of the Division Honor Juvenile league.

This is the fourth goal for the lanky forward who scored the first goal of his side’s 3-0 winner last Wednesday for his side over Almunecar City.
