The Nigeria National League Super 4 after suffering postponement on two occasions due to an overwhelming flood in Bayelsa State has now been rescheduled for November 15, 2022, in the same state.

Overwhelming flood mishap which ravaged the state had led the NNL to earlier postpone the event which was billed to start on 16th to 22nd October, but due to the flood, it was rescheduled for 25-29 October 2022 at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenegoa in Bayelsa State.

However, the NNL through its Facebook official page released an indefinite postponement of the competition after the situation in the host state was not palatable for the movement towards the second rescheduled date.

But from the latest information coming out from a reliable source in the management, the tournament will now start on November 14th.

According to the source “we have concluded on the 14th of November and it will end on the 19th. The clubs would be informed about this soon, but to have things finalized on time and enable the teams involved enough space to prepare for the NPFL, that date is the best for us now.”

Four clubs involved are Bendel Insurance of Benin, Bayelsa United, Doma United of Gombe and El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri who won their respective groups in the regular season.
