NPL Restricts Club Chairmen From Technical Area, Warns Ball Boys Against Unsporting Behavior

The organisers of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NFL), the Nigeria Premier League Limited have placed restrictions on club chairmen from sitting on the technical bench henceforth.The NPL in a letter titled “PROTOCOL REGARDING USAGE OF TECHNICAL BENCH DURING LEAGUE MATCHES”, sent to clubs on Wednesday, March 20, signed by the Chief Operating Officer of the league, Davidson Owumi, stated that the technical bench is meant for only coaches, substituted players and other officials who have business on the bench in the course of the game and to enable them enabling environment during games.

The league body reminded clubs to desist from engaging in such unprofessional conduct immediately while encouraging club staff and Ball Boys of their responsibilities during matches and ensuring they contribute positively to the fair and orderly conduct of games.
