NWFL24: Let the officiating be fair – Moses Adukwu

Head Coach of Edo Queens , Moses Adukwu has called on Nigerian referees to allow the best teams in Nigeria represent the country in continental tournaments, platinumnewsng, com is exclusively reporting.

Speaking with Platinum News, the gaffer pointed out that Nigeria is not represented by the best and he faulted it as a reason as why Nigeria is yet to win the CAF Women’s champions League.

“I’m only asking that officiating be fair everywhere. When did South Africa start Women Football? They’ve been there thrice and won it twice. We need to allow the Nigeria Women Football League Premiership flow and allow our best teams win then we can go all out to win the CAF Champions League. I’m only asking that officiating be fair everywhere even in Edo”, the former Falconets coach said.

The ex-Bayelsa queens coach went on to state his ambitious plans and objectives with Edo Queens.

“Our target is to win the CAF Women Champions League.”

Edo Queens has never won the NWFL Premiership. 2023 champions, Delta queens failed to make it to the CAF Champions League after losing the final of the WAFU-B qualifiers to Ampem Darkoa of Ghana at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in August.
