Fast-growing innovative technology solutions provider in Nigeria, Green Lunar Nigeria Limited, has registered its readiness aimed at deepening collaboration in sports development, fitness, and human capacity building with the National Institute for Sports (NIS), Platinum News is reporting.

The establishment, through its Instagram page, made this known on Wednesday after a high-level strategic engagement between its CEO, Mr Olaniyi Odina, and the South-South Regional Director of the National Institute for Sports (NIS), Dr Rasheed Oyakhire.
At the centre of the talks were fresh opportunities for Green Cardio Fitness Gym Limited, the fitness subsidiary of Odina’s conglomerate, to partner with the NIS and other key stakeholders in advancing sports development across the region.
Areas earmarked for collaboration include professional training, gym establishment and management, manpower development, and the deployment of modern technology within Nigeria’s sports ecosystem.
Both parties also explored ways to support the continued growth of the University of Benin and to reposition the University of Benin Comrades Community for stronger impact.
Speaking on the engagement, Odina reaffirmed his commitment to backing initiatives that align with the founding vision of the Comrades Community, describing the partnership as a step toward greater achievements for the group.
Also on the discussion table was a deliberation on the future of the University of Benin Comrades Community, a body currently chaired by Dr Oyakhire.
The meeting is expected to pave the way for expanded collaboration in sports, fitness, technology, and community development, further strengthening Nigeria’s sports ecosystem.
