Stefano Pioli has disclosed his eagerness to work with the club’s new acquisition as soon as he gets into action for the Rossoneri ahead of the new season.
Samuel Chukwueze, a Nigerian international who recently completed a highly anticipated switch worth €20m plus €8m in add-ons from the Spanish club side, Villarreal to the seven-time UEFA Champions League and Serie A counterparts on Thursday.
The AC Milan Manager claimed that the 24-year-old Super Eagles forward has all the good qualities he admires in a fast-paced and creative winger.
“We had talked to each other a couple of times, we were looking for a player with these characteristics. He is fast, technical, strong in one-on-one and he attacks deep. He seems like a complete winger to me, but until I train with him, I can’t tell,” the gaffer said.
