Shaibu Promises Millions to Delta Queens in WAFU B Semis

The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Rt Hon. Philip Shaibu, on Monday afternoon displayed his support for Nigerian Champions, Delta Queens, as he pledged a substantial reward of one million naira for every goal scored during the Semi-finals of the CAF Women’s Champions League WAFU B Qualifiers.

The Deputy Governor conveyed his announcement to the team in a heartfelt gesture just before their clash against Athletico FC of Cote d’Ivoire. The Delta Queens are set to face off against Athletico FC in the semi-final showdown, scheduled to unfold at the renowned Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium at 3 pm.
