Super Eagles defender Benjamin Tanimu has completed a return to Tanzanian Premier League side Singida Black Stars, signing a two-year contract with the club for an undisclosed fee, Platinum News is reporting.
The 23-year-old centre-back rejoins Singida Black Stars after a spell with Moroccan club Maghreb Fès, where he featured following his previous stint in Tanzania.
Tanimu is expected to link up with his new teammates at the club’s pre-season training camp in Rwanda as preparations intensify for the 2026/27 campaign.
The move marks another chapter in the defender’s career, having previously played for Nigeria Premier Football League side Bendel Insurance before earning opportunities abroad with Ihefu FC cum Singida Black Stars. From Tanzania, his performance caught the attention of English side Crawley FC and, most recently, Maghreb Fès.
The centre-back will be aiming to re-establish himself as a key figure for Singida Black Stars while continuing to stake his claim for future national team call-ups.
