Tyronne Ebuehi and Umar Sadiq Replace Awoniyi and Aina for Saudi Arabia

In preparation for Nigeria’s international friendly matches against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique, two changes have been made to the Super Eagles lineup, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.

Taiwo Awoniyi and Ola Aina, both of whom play for Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League, will be replaced by Tyronne Ebuehi and Umar Sadiq due to injuries.

Awoniyi and Aina were absent from Forest’s recent 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace, and their manager, Steve Cooper, revealed that Awoniyi will be sidelined for up to one month due to a groin injury.

Awoniyi has scored three goals in seven league appearances, while Aina has made five outings in the English topflight.

The Super Eagles are scheduled to play Saudi Arabia on October 13 and Mozambique on October 16, with both matches taking place in Portugal.
