The Nigerian U-17 Womens team coach, Bankole Olowookere has noted that the next game would not be easy, but the team would be ready and prepared for it platinumnewsng.com is reporting.

Speaking in an interview with NFF TV, Olowookere said “As a tactician, I nee to start planning ahead for the next game because the more we go, the tougher it becomes. This is the last hurdle, football is not mathematics but whatever we put into it.”

Commenting on the previous game against Mali, he revealed that “when we went to Mali, we went with the mindset that we would outweigh them, but when we got there, the game was not as expected”

“It is a lesson we would take going into the game against Liberia. If Liberia can turn the table and advanced with a win at home, it is a signal for us to tighten our belts and strive to gain maximum points both at home and away”

The Flamingos defeated Burkina Faso 7-1 on aggregate and are set to face Liberia on the 7th of June.
