WWE legend, The Undertaker appeared to present the Riyadh Season Cup trophy in a friendly match that took place on Thursday, February 8, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.
Mark William Calaway, popularly known by his ring name Undertaker, appeared in a football match with his iconic entrance theme for the first time to present the Riyadh Season Cup trophy to a huge ovation from the spectators.
In the Riyadh Season Cup, a friendly match was between Cristiano Ronaldo’s side, Al-Nassr vs Al-Hilal. Ronaldo was pictured laughing with hteammatestes as the three-time WWE heavyweight champion presented the trophy.
Both sides came into the game with some of their key players and some of Europe’s top stars. Captain of Al-Nassr Ronaldo, Alex Telles, Aymeric Laporte, Marcelo Brozovic, and Edmilson Otavio all started the game with Sadio Mane coming in for Abdulrahman Ghareeb in the second half.
Al-Hilal also started with a strong XI with Kalidou Koulibaly, Malcom, Milinkovic-Savic, Ruben Neves, and Renan Lodi all starting the game with Aleksandr Mitrovic leading the line.
Al-Hilal lifted the trophy at the end of the match after defeating their opponent 2-0. The goals came in the first half with Milinkovic-Savic scoring in the 17th minute and Salem Al Dawsari putting the second past Nijjar at the half hour mark.
This was the first time the WWE Superstar, Undertaker will appear in his iconic entrance theme song after retiring in 2020.
