Amidst the backdrop of fierce competition and spirited displays of talent, Idia Royals Cricket Club (CC) clinched the championship title defeating the reigning champions, Smashers Cricket Club in Benin City, Edo State.
Speaking with Sharon Ekhiwere of Platinum News, the a coach of the national team revealed the tournament is a melting pot of young and seasoned players, and has offered a unique spectacle this year, with an array of talents that have not only captivated the audience but also provided a broader selection pool for the national team’s coaching staff.
“It has been an amazing experience seeing the young players and the experienced players showcase their talent,” Bhakith remarked.
“We have seen very good talents and potentials. Also a pool of players for the coaches to choose to join the national teams”
