NWFL24: Nasarawa Amazons FC Unveils 19 Players Ahead of New Season

With six days until the start of the new Nigeria Women’s Football League Premiership season, Nasarawa Amazons FC has officially unveiled 19 new players, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.

In a post on the team’s official Facebook page, the 19 players who underwent rigourous screening process, were made known to the public and will play for the Amazons in the 2023/24 season.

The unveiled players are as follows:

1. Bakare Shukura Ayomide: Joining from Edo Queens FC Benin, Bakare takes her position as a goalkeeper.

2. Okoye Chioma: Hailing from Adamawa Queens Yola, Okoye joins as another goalkeeper.

3. Unachukwu Udoka: Also from Edo Queens Benin, Udoka secures a spot as a goalkeeper.

4. Saleh Blessing: A talented attacker from Gallant Queens FC, Zaria.

5. Lot Daniella: Another attacker, Lot Daniella, arrives from Gallant Queens FC, Zaria.

6. Agams Nkechi: Joining as an attacker from Abia Angels FC, Umuahia.

7. Akabike Chinwe: Another addition from Abia Angels FC, Umuahia, as an attacker.

8. Onu Ogochukwu: Coming from Abia Angels FC, Umuahia, Onu is a midfielder.

9. Dike Patience: A left full back joining from Abia Angels FC, Umuahia.

10. Abdulwahab Faridat: A midfielder coming from Kwara Ladies FC, Ilorin.

11. Owoseni Olubukola: An attacker making her way from Dreams Stars FC, Lagos.

12. Shobowale Olushola Rukkayat: Joining as a midfielder from FC Robo, Lagos.

13. Adesoji Esther: A central defender coming from FC Robo, Lagos.

14. Essien Marylen: Joining as a right full back from Rivers Angels FC, Port-Harcourt.

15. Odoh Bibiana Odinaka: An attacker from Honey Badgers FC.

16. Nnadi Oluchi Chinwendu: Joining as a right full back from Confluence Queens, Lokoja.

17. Isaiah Ochanya: A defensive midfielder from Nazareth Queens FA, Karu.

18. Omosuyi Ayowunmi Mama: Joining as a defensive midfielder from Sunshine Queens, Akure.

19. Mosaku Olubukola: Another valuable attacker from Prince Kazeem Eletu FC, Abeoukuta, Ogun state.
