Nigerian forward Chidera Ejuke has flown out to undergo medical tests at Royal Antwerp on the verge of joining the Belgian Pro League side on a season-long loan deal from Russian Premier League club, CSKA Moscow.
The 25-year-old Super Eagles winger who spent the 2022/23 campaign on loan at Hertha Berlin, however, suffered a couple of injury blows which slowed down his performance for the German club which eventually got relegated from the Bundesliga.
His arrival will up the number of Nigerians to four at the club with Alhassan Yusuf, Victor Udoh and George Ilenikhena already members of Royal Antwerp’s first team.
