Mamelodi Sundowns secured the inaugural African Football League [AFL] championship on Sunday with a convincing 2-0 win, and 3-2 on aggregate victory over Moroccan giants Wydad AC in the final’s second leg at a packed Loftus Versfeld Stadium, platinumnewsng.com is reporting.

Starting the match on the back foot after a 2-1 loss in the first leg last week in Casablanca, Sundowns delivered a stellar performance in front of their devoted fans, winning the tie 3-2 on aggregate.
