Nigerian Forward Set to Join Bayer Leverkusen in €20m Deal



Nigerian forward Victor Boniface is poised to make a significant move to Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen from Belgian Pro League outfit Union St Gilloise.


Renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Leverkusen is currently engaged in advanced talks with Union St Gilloise for the talented player.


The 22-year-old Boniface has already reached a mutual agreement on personal terms with Leverkusen, making the deal one step closer to fruition.


This promising transfer is estimated to be worth over €20 million, signaling the German club’s keen interest in securing the young striker’s services.


Last season proved to be a standout performance for Boniface, as he showcased his goal-scoring prowess by netting an impressive total of 17 goals in all competitions for Union Saint-Gilloise. Among these, nine goals were scored in 37 appearances in the Belgian Jupiler League.
