NPFL24: It’s not a do or die affair — Bishir Sadauki

The coach of Katsina United, Bishir Sadauki is one of the managers who don’t dwell too much on defeat in a match, rather, they wish the winners well and move on without any hassle.

Speaking after his team’s 1-0 defeat to Enyimba Sunday evening at the Enyimba stadium in Aba in the match day 32 of the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Enyimba won the game courtesy of Chijioke Mbaoma’s 59th-minute goal from the spot, to keep pushing behind Fidelis Ilechukwu’s Enugu Rangers.

In the post-match, the jovial manager rued the missed chances he felt could have changed the complexion of the game, nevertheless congratulated Enyimba for the win.

“I give thanks to God. It was a match and I believe we had good chances we were supposed to convert but we didn’t and they got theirs and converted”.

“I congratulate Enyimba, we will shift our focus to the next match”.

“I think football is a game of win, lose or draw, there’s nothing to write home about because the chances we got we couldn’t convert, if we had done that, this is not what we would be saying by now, but we will go back to the drawing board, work again and continue from there”.

“It’s not a do-or-die affair that I must win every match.”
