The coach who spoke with the media after the 1-1 encounter spoke highly of Bendel Insurance, stating that his team’s ability to get a draw in Benin City doesn’t put the credentials of Bendel Insurance FC in doubt at all as they remain a very good team.

According to the gaffer, “Well, we were able to get a draw today doesn’t mean Bendel Insurance are a bad team, they are a very good team and they gave us a good fight. You saw we were a goal up before they equalized and we were able to hold on till the end of the game.”

On how he feels about the result, Coach Abdulazeez said, “I’m very happy about the result, to get a point on the road is not an easy thing. We lost a point at home against plateau United last week and today we were able to pick something.”

He went on to state the secret ingredient responsible for their performance, “We have a game plan, and it is our philosophy, we dont normally play kick and follow football. we play possessional football, which brings out the beauty of the game and we are getting results from it.”
